Mark Cowan
Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer, Abilisoft
As co-founder and CEO, Mark Cowan is responsible for Abilisoft's strategic direction and growth. Prior to this, Mark was CEO at Abilitec, Europe's largest Tivoli Automation Services partner; a company that consistently delivered double-digit growth year-on-year. Abilitec was acquired by Innovise Plc in 2007, and for the next two years, Mark managed Innovise's ESM division and successfully integrated a number of businesses within that structure. Previously, Mark was UK Manager for Micromeritics Corporation.
Andrew Onacko
Co-founder, Abilisoft
Andrew Onacko is co-founder and a board member of Abilisoft, Executive Director of Innovise Plc as well as CEO for Innovise's International business. A serial entrepreneur, Andrew was also a co-founder of Abilitec in 1999. Prior to this, Andrew was Director of Managed Services at Timeplex, a role in which he amassed a detailed understanding of company restructuring and technology integrations.
John Zimmer
EMEA Channel Manager, Abilisoft
John Zimmer joined Abilisoft in 2011 to manage Abilisoft’s channel operations. John has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, joining Abilisoft from L’arbre Solutions, where he specialised in introducing and marketing new and innovative management software solutions to the UK market. Prior to this, John was responsible for the channel marketing of Managed Objects’ business service management (BSM) solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Additionally, John has worked for Novell, Computer Associates, Legent Software and Goal Systems holding managerial and senior sales roles in the UK, US and France.
David Charles
Chief Technical Officer, Abilisoft
David Charles took the role of Chief Technology Officer at Abilisoft from its inception and is responsible for the technological direction of the company and product development. Prior to joining Abilisoft, David was lead developer at Tideway Systems, now part of BMC. David has been engaged in software engineering for over 20 years in a career that has included developing simulation software for the UK's Air Defence System, writing embedded, real-time manufacturing control systems and implementing ERP systems for the Steel Industry. During this time David has worked for the UK Ministry of Defence, solo in small outfits and in blue-chip, multi-national conglomerates. This has given David a unique insight into the demands on IT in a wide range of landscapes both in the UK and internationally.
